Banquet Manager Chris Blumhoff was able to tell us a little more about how the Holiday Inn City Centre goes above and beyond, and always aims to turn moments into memories.
1. How long have you been in business?
We have been in business for 44 years strong!
2. How many people are part of your team?
Our Banquet department consists of roughly 47 employees.
3. Can you tell us a little about the Holiday Inn Sioux Falls City Centre’s history & background?
The Holiday Inn City Centre has been a staple in Sioux Falls downtown since the day we opened. We have several banquet rooms to hold all sized events including our Starlite Ballroom (which used to be a restaurant that rotated 360 degrees once an hour). Now with it being a very popular wedding reception location, the view is what our guests love the most.
4. What sets you apart from other venues in your industry?
Customer service, without a doubt. We pride ourselves on going above and beyond for our guests. We also know the importance and relief it can bring when you can book an event with us and not have to worry about details being missed.
5. What is your primary goal when serving your clients?
To turn moments into memories.
6. What is your favorite thing about your work?
The people I work with and being able to meet new people every day from all over the country and sometimes the world.
7. Is there any particular topic you would like to focus on?
We would love to make your day by hosting an event here and letting us take care of all the details and making sure that it is exceeding your expectations while making it an easy and stress-free process for you. We love what we do here, and I hope we get the chance to show you.
