If you have ever called Empire Productions or had us provide any kind of entertainment for you, chances are you've heard an enthusiastic, helpful young woman on the other end of the line or seen a well-dressed professional that looks like she's been in the industry for years. Tiffany Hooten is a pivotal part of all things Empire Productions, and is now being acknowledged for her dedication and hard work.
After much deliberation, Owner Tony Axtell has decided to step down as General Manager and promote Tiffany from Client Conceirge and Office Manager to the woman in charge.
She will now be overseeing the day-to-day operations and sales, making administrative decisions, and dealing with client and employee relations. Tony will maintain ownership of the company and will still be performing events and focusing more of his time on employee training and client relations.
“Tiffany deserves this position. I believe that she will help our small company grow and provide better service to our clients. This will also allow me to step back and focus on spending more time with my family.”
Tiffany has plenty of experience with the entertainment industry, communicating with the public, and doing work in the community. She is pursuing a major in entrepreneurial studies with a minor in studio arts and a certificate in painting at South Dakota State University. She was named Miss South Dakota International in 2014 and started the charity K.I.D.S (Kids Imagination Development Skill). She works avidly with the Children’s Miracle Network, Susan G. Komen South Dakota, Relay for Life, Autism Speaks, and Go Red for Women.
Tony could have reason to be anxious, letting the reins go of the business that he created in 2011. He's not, though. He's confident and says that Tiffany has earned this position.
“This has been in the works for some time, and our clients and team members are excited for this change. I feel that she is extremely qualified for the position and that the company is in good hands.”
Everyone at Empire Productions is on board and excited about these changes. As far as being a leader in the entertainment industry, be prepared to see a lot more of Miss Hooten in the years to come.
